So happy to be home!

We made it home yesterday around 4:00.  We are so happy to have our own bed again and to try and get settled into a routine.  Charlotte made our first night home fun.  She didn't believe in sleeping from midnight until 6 this morning.  We are hoping tonight goes better so we can get some rest!

    That's great!  I'm glad you're feeling better... Are you nursing??  How is it going?  It's so hard/painful at first but it will get better.

    I'm nursing.  She latches on great, so I've been lucky with that.  I'm worried she's not getting enough since she only eats about 20-25 minutes at a time every 2 1/2 to 3 hours, but the lactation consultant assured me she is fine.  She had already started to regain weight when we left the hospital.

    awesome!!! so great to hear that!  Keep up the good work! 

    Just remember (as hard as it is) - if she's having plenty of wet/dirty diapers, then she is eating enough.  It's SOOOOO hard not being able to see how much they are eating.  I went to a LC a few times to do weight checks before/after feeding and it helped ease my mind.

    Glad ya'll are home! I know what you mean about it being a relief to get to your own bed!  I hope Charlotte sleeps better for ya'll tonight and ya'll can get some rest.
