What types of pads do you have to help with sheet changing? DD spits up alot so i know we will need something waterproof and we will be changing sheets often! TIA
sheet protectors are expensive so I just use bassinet mattress pads or lap pads. They work out great. But really... If she spits up in the middle of the night I don't change the sheet right away. I just move her to another spot in the crib and change the sheet the next day.
I have sheet savers from BRU. Since he's not in his crib yet we actually use them on the PNP changing table. They are really nice and only like $6 each.
I'm using the Ultimate Crib Sheet....it's pricey $19.99...but it's saved me from buying lots of sheets and having to strip everything down in the middle of the night. It lays on top of the crib sheet and is secured by elastic snaps. I just take it off and replace with a second one that I have. No having to strip down crib sheet and protector both.
I layer DD#1's crib with 3 layers of sheets and mattress protectors (the type that are look like fitted sheets). When she was younger and in this DD's cosleeper we put a lap pad under their head so if they spit up I don't have to change the sheets. I have 3 layers of sheets because both DDs' diapers leak at times I don't want to have to change sheets in the middle of the night. Just strip the wet layer of sheet and mattress protector and lay them on the next layer that is dry.
