Ummm..I'm bitter too...

I posted this very thought the other night, and got nice responses back, but...I guess I was really looking for others who felt the same way. Maybe like crystalknpp, I too belong here. Here's my story. Decide if you want to keep me or not.

BFP #1: 07/10/2009, missed m/c d&c 08/12/09, tried over the fall and got a BFP#2 on 01/31/2010, at 8 weeks identical twins were discovered, at 17 weeks twin-to-twin-transfusion syndrome, a rare placental disease, at 18 weeks both boys died in utero 05/12/2010, D&E on 5/19/2010.

So while it's been only three months since we lost the twins, it's now officially over a year since our first loss. I wrote the other night that I'm bitter when drive-bys come on and post stupid things like, "my betas went to O, we had sex, and now I haven't had a period yet. So I POAS and guess what!?" Duh...I already know what, dumba$$... I used to be optimistic, but now...well, now, not so much. I felt like I got punched in the stomach from the most recent loss, and can't possibly believe/trust the world.

    Welcome to the board.  I'm very sorry you have to be here, but I'm glad you found a place you can come to be yourself.

    Thanks, everyone. I'm not sure how often I'll be around, but will certainly try to keep up and provide support at night. I just returned to teaching after being off for the summer months. In fact I hadn't been back since my TTTS diagnosis, so this week has been particularly painful.

    I am truly sorry for your losses, but to be honest I did take offense at your  post on TTCAL that talked about this.  Here is why:  I felt that you where trying to slap those of us who seriously have been at this a lot longer than you.  I have been trying since 2007 and there are people on this board who have been trying longer than that.  We must be ancient to you as you really haven't been trying for all that long at all. 
    Forever buddy to Angelica; Natural Miscarriage Jan. 2008 @ 11 weeks; 2 years of BFFN's; DX: Unexplained IF (RE thinks IF is due to tubal issues); IUI #1 & 2= BFFN; IUI#3 = BFP, resulted in Cornual ectopic pregnancy; IUI #4 - 6 =BFFN; Our next endeavor... IVF. 1 grade AA embryo transferred on 4-23-2011 and 5 frosties. BFP Abby born 1/5/2012

    I am truly sorry for your losses...but I am right there with suntoto.  I have been TTC since Spring 2005...and we only get pg with IVF.  I had an early loss and lost twin boys at 19+ weeks for unknown causes.  I understand that you are bitter...but you really have not been at this for that long.  I wish you the best of luck...try to stay positive!

    I'm sorry you took offense to my posting on TTCAL, but in no way was it intended to slap anyone in the face. What's missing from my story is that we tried for 2 years (2007) before even getting a first BFP, and I felt like I could relate to you all on this board, especially since some of you have had late losses.
