I have had this funny inkling about one of DD's caregivers. I'm trying to rationalize it as nerves, and hopefully it is just nerves. But something about that woman makes me uneasy.
Today took the cake. L was sopping wet when I picked her up. Her diaper was so full it was pathetic and basically overflowing. She hadn't been changed in a very long time and I happened to be a little earlier than usual. Her sheet said she had been changed a few hours before. But you don't get that kind of wet diaper in only 3 hours. Yet her sippy cup of water was still full. They claimed she drank it at lunch on her form. But she clearly did not. Am I nuts? WWYD?
Re: mothers intuition or nerves?
definitely go with your gut. Plus she is supposed to be changed every 2 hours.
I went through this with Alec's teachers when he was 2 and every time, I would call the director.
Gotta pay attention to that feeling. Seriously. Once I did... I took Nkosi out of a summer camp cause something just wasn't right. I dont know.. .maybe the look of his face when I left him ... but it was just 3 days in to it and I took him out and sent him somewhere else.
2 weeks later the camp that I took him out of was on the news and the owner was facing charges of child endangerment.
this wife bakes.
One of my favorite cakes ever! I had a blast making this..all handmade with buttercream suds!!!!
