So I am tired of feeling like DH and I make and eat the same things night after night. I have decided that I want to try and change things up using the fabulous cookbook we got for our wedding, and Betty Crocker, Kraft, and other internet sites. Since the attempt to venture outside of the box I have made an easy cheesey hamburger tomato bake, chicken enchiladas, sweet and sour chicken, and more.
Tonight I am trying another new recipe. In the oven I have an easy cheese and hotdog pie. It was so easy to make, so I sure hope it taste good.
What are you having tonight for dinner?

Panko Crusted Tilapia with baked potatoes and corn on the cob.
I had this same convo at work today... so we are having breakfast for dinner!
Pancakes, maple sausage links, hashbrowns, eggs, toast and OJ
I made herb bread yesterday, so tonight we'll have soup (from the Safeway deli - it's too good), bread, and corn on the cob.
I started cooking after moving in together, too (before we lived together I usually had way too much food left over). I was surprised to find that - most of the time - it's super easy to make a home cooked meal. Also surprised to learn that I love to cook. My mom always treated it as a chore, so I had internalized that mindset. I really enjoy looking through cookbooks for recipes that use the items on sale that week - especially since those items are usually what's in season.
