Help! Playtex Vent Air Bottles/Warmer??

Hey ladies, I havent posted much but Im in a bottle/formula crisis and need help.

Do any of you use a bottle warmer, and if so which one??  I recently had to change from the drop ins (which I loved), to these Venti Air because of gas issues. AND I had to go from powder to the premade formula (Similac Sensitive).  I am so confused....

My issue is how to warm the formula faster (im just using hot water in a bowl- which sucks right now) and how do you deal with warming the formula on the go??

  • For on the go they have car warmers.  Try keeping the milk in a bag with ice pack to keep it cold and unthaw it as you need it

  • Why are you warming the formula?

  • I use the vent air bottles and was also doing the water in a bowl warm up. We started using the NUK bottle warmer and it has worked like a charm witht these bottles. The only thing is when you first take the bottles out after being warmed, the ring around the bottom and the top are very warm to the touch but it will either wear off or you could run under some cold water. Depending on the amount of formula and which size bottles you are using you may need a few times to adjust how much water you need to use in it, but it is so worth not waiting for it to warm up in a bowl. Also, you may need to tip the vent air bottle to the side and use a paper towel to wipe the steam off and with your fingernail and the paper towel....go around the bottom ring or else when you tip it to feed the baby it will leak. Just some tips for ya. good luck.
