When do you want to try for your next LO?

I am so torn on this. I wants LO's close together but we want three and I might lose my mind if they are ALL close together but I don't want to have 2 and then wait awhile for #3.

What are your plans?

I'm due in March, so our children will be about 14-15mos apart. It initially was not planned this way, but we're okay with it. We originally wanted to wait about a year before we TTC again.

I am torn as well. I would like them to be close in age like my siblings and I were. But I would also like to wait so the DD is more independant. At this point I am thinking that we're going to TTC when DD turns 3.

We're thinking of TTC next fall. We want around 2.5 years between kids.

DH and I have been dicussing starting TTC next month. It took 16 months to get pregnant with DS and we want to have them closer together. We know there is a possiblity of getting pregnant right away so I'm debating waiting until I'm done bf before trying. The only reason I want to start next month is because I want a summer baby.

I want to try in a year, if everything goes according to plan.

It really is nice having an older sibling to help me with LO while I take care of things around the house. He is also in school so I get time with LO during the day that I would be dividing if he were younger. On the other hand, I want another one closer in age to LO so he has someone to play with when they are a little older, since DS1 will be into different things.

We are trying for #2 now. I want the first two close in age. Like you, we are positive we want a third but still undecided on a 4th.

If we decide only to have three I want them all very close together (within 2 years of each other max). If after #2 we decide that we can handle four then we'll probably wait 2 years and then try for #3 & #4 really close together.

My siblings and I are too far apart (12 years) and so we've always been at different stages of our lives and not very close. DH and his two siblings were all close together in age and are very close as a family now too.

I would love to TTC #2 next summer when DD is 1 1/2. DH says: "That's not even on my radar yet, I don't want another for a long time".

Ugh. So we'll see when we are able to get on the same page.

I could have another one tomorrow, I would love to start trying. But with DH's work schedule (military) we just don't know where we'll be in a year so I'd rather not change OB's and states while pregnant and with a 1 year old. So, we're just going to wait until we settle into our next duty station...hopefully in a year or two.

DH and I were talking about #2 last night. I think we have a tentative timeline of starting to TTC in January. I don't want the kids to close in age, but I don't want them very far apart either.

NEXT CYCLE!!! They will hopefully be around 18 apart if we get pregnant pretty quickly. Then I would like the next one to be around 2 years apart. Although I too am a little nervous that I will have 3 close together or maybe even 4... if I can convince DH!

If I could, I'd begin TTC in Jan/Feb 2011, however, my husband is just not ready yet, so we agreed to wait till Dec 2011/Jan 2012 to start TTC.

Ideally, we'd like to get pregnant right around Ryan's 2nd birthday. That gives me time to finish school (a year from now) and get a job before getting pregnant. But we'll start TTC as soon as I graduate.

Never.

We started TTC when our youngest was about 6 months. This is our last baby. We wanted the kids to all be close in age so the spacing worked out pretty well.

This! Exactly! Only you're a week further along than me. Surprise...still trying to figure out how that happened....lol
