NTTGPR- Gift for DH on Honeymoon!

We are going on our cruise a week from this Saturday. I am trying to figure out the best thing to buy from Carnival for my DH.

There is a "Happy Honeymoon" set where they decorate your room with a streamer that says "Happy Honeymoon", and then some other decorations.

My Husband isn't isn't a huge drinker however he likes Corona, and they have a set with a cooler, 4 Coronas, a mug, and a hat.

Or there is a coupon for 4 bar drinks

I don't really know which one to do. I know the Happy Honeymoon will be nice for decorating purposes and it's semi romantic, but I can't really decide.
If it was you, what would you get?

I did something similar for DH on our honeymoon. I had a gift basket delivered with multiple goodies. I had some of his favorite beer in there. He really liked it.

Of these options, the beer - but then again I'm a beer drinker... What about buying something before you are on the ship? Like an actual gift?

That sounds cute! If it were me, I'd probably go with the corona cooler. Then maybe decorate the room a little yourself while he is in the shower or something. That way you get both without spending a tone of cash!

Of those, I agree with getting the Corona one (I, too, am a beer drinker

). I would just worry that the decorations might look cheesy and the coupons seems a little pointless, because you two could just go to the bar together. Can you see pics of what it will look like? I might still go with the beer anyway... are the prices comparable?

I'm not sure I'd do any of them. Actually, I would do that drink coupons. The mug/hat with the Corona would go to waste with us (not the Corona's though...haha).

We went on our honeymoon on Carnival too, and two different sets of people got us stuff before we went - one set did pay for the Honeymoon decorations, and another set sent us a bottle of champagne and put money on our shipboard account for the spa.

The Honeymoon decorations weren't that great... the couples massage was awesome!

I would spend some money on a nice piece of lingerie instead. My hubs would not care for streamers/banners, or need a beer set.

We are going for 8 days, to Cozumel, Mexico (no excursion yet), Limon, Costa Rica (We are going to a jaguar rescue center, and the beach), and then Colon, Panama (Fishing at the Panama Canal).

We are so excited!!!

I agree with PP, don't get the package from the cruise. Get him something personal that he will remember.

I got DH a pair of cufflinks from Tiffany's that I gave him on our honeymoon, he absolutely loved them and wears them all the time

We are so excited!!!

We went on a carnival cruise last August and one of the ports was cozumel. We went on the Twister Excursion. It is a yellow speed boat that takes you for a ride to an island for a couple hours. But the real fun part of the excursion is the boat ride. The "Twister" speeds through the water and does 360's and pretty much is a fast thrilling ride. If you like that kinda thing it was our best excursion we did at all ports!

Someone I know go the "happy honeymoon" set & it turned out to be just a cheesy little dollar store banner.
