What did you do, scared of the potty

We started the 3 day pt Sun, DS had 5 accidents but went on the potty 4 time.  Which he has never actually gone on the potty until then but we have been sitting on it and getting used to it for a couple of months now. 2nd day zero accidents but a little more nervous about the potty.  By the 3rd day he was having one accident after another and cried and wined when he was on the potty.  So I put him back in diapers.  I want this to be a positive experience.  If you had a LO that was scarred of the potty how did you help them get over the fear?

    I gave DD a book or a fav toy to distract her if she started to get scared. it helped her relax enough to let the pee come or the poop come.
