newbie question

Hello!

I am super excited as recently found out that I am pregnant by doing 4 home tests on Monday (just to make sure) and have to wait to see my OBGYN next week. I am trying to figure how far along I am. My last period was in June is there to guestimate how many weeks I am at? There's no realy way to tell when we conceived right?

The closest thing that you can do is 'guesstimate' at this point if you haven't been charting or tracking your cycle.

Best guesstimate if you have a fairly regular cycle is ovulation occurs approx 14 days before your next period should begin. So if your July period should have started on the 30th, closest guess would be to predict ovulation on the 16th or so. This being said, the due date wheels that Drs. use is based on a 28 day cycle and counts from the first day of your last period, so it would probably have you at 5 or 6 weeks.
