Walmart's Dorel Rocking Chair...

I have yet to find one rocker/glider that I like. Except for the Luca glider (but it's $995 - not sure if my DH will go for that) I thought about getting the Dorel - Baby Rocking chair from Walmart with no slip cover (only $170!!!) and have it upholstered. Has anybody purchased it? Or knows anybody that has? Thoughts? Reviews? Opinions?

    I saw that one, too. Looks a lot more comfortable (definitely cheaper) than most others I've seen. I just hate how they all come in white, 'ecru', of that gawdawful green or blue! You could always buy a slipcover to put over it- that way, if something gets on it, you can wash it vs. just spot cleaning.

    Yes!  I would like to reupholster it rather than buy a slipcover. Even if I do that, it would be much cheaper than most. I just wonder what the quality of the chair is like...

    My SIL just bought that chair off someone on craigslist. She said it's fabulous. It did come with the pink cover, but she may change that. She got it for $80 and said it's like brand new! I never get deals like that!

    I actually just bought this glider with ottoman from Walmart for $125 including shipping. Has good reviews and it's really great. Got it delivered in 2 days and set it up right away and it's beautiful. Just in case you're still on the fence for a glider.
