I was shocked to step on the scale this morning and see that I have already gained 7 pounds and I am only 14w4d! I really was hoping to keep my total gain to 20 pounds, but at this rate I'll be up to 65! =(
i gained a total of 35 pounds with my daughter...with no weight gain until second tri. I gained about 7 pounds already with this one so I am expecting to probably gain a little more than I did with her. We will see. I am in the same boat.
I stepped on the scale this morning and I still have only gained 2.5 pounds. And I'm not holding back on food when I'm hungry. Strange. I look like I've gained 5-6.
I have gained 5 pounds so far, my doctor would like me to gain 25-30 total. I am comfortable with my weight gain so far. I am eating healthy and exercising and those are the most important to me.
I'll know exactly tomorrow when I go to my midwife...but according to my MIL's scale....I've gained 4. I really feel like whatever I've gained has been in the past 2 weeks. I don't even have a scale at home, so it's kinda nice to not make myself crazy with it.

I am still down about 2-3lbs depending on the day. I look like I've gained though.

I've gained about 4 so far, I'm not quite to 14 weeks, but my doctor hasn't said anything so far! I think 7 pounds is okay...they usually say between 3-5 for the 1st trimester right??

At 14 weeks (last week for me) I had also gained 7 pounds. But I was eating like crazy to curb the nausea up until then. Now I'm back to eating the same amout that I was eating before I was pregnant for meals and little morning and afternoon snacks.
But I'm with you...I know that I'll gain what I gain, but I don't to stay on that track!!!

2 pounds. I'm with all the others who feel they've gained much more. Today I had an appt. and was hoping to be (at about 15 weeks) where I was at with my first two. Score! But, I ended up gaining 43 and 35 pounds each time. Blah. Now it's grow time.
I think I've gained about 5 pounds. I am terrified that I will gain a ton of weight, but all I do is eat like a hog. I wish that I could exercise, but I've been on bed rest for a while, and it doesn't seem like I'll be off of it soon.

Bryce Addison I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living my baby you'll be.
Our baby boy was born sleeping on 9.17.10. He was 19w1d.
I'm up 2.5# total in the last 2 weeks, before that I lost 10#, so I guess I'm doing ok for now! Not showing yet and hoping to keep it that way for another 2 months if I can. Thank god for the gym.
10 lb already. For a long time, eating helped me stave off nausea (but I never actually threw up... until last night, oddly... but that was from taking my prenatal without enough food when nighttime is already the time I feel worst). Plus I was studying for the bar, and I always eat a lot when I have big tests to study for. And now I don't have much nausea, but I am STARVING frequently.
I only wanted to gain 20 as well but I have already gained 8 pounds. I haven't been working out as hard and eating more. I feel like I am obsessed with food.
Re: 14 weekers - how much weight have you gained?

At least 10.
I've been super exhausted (boo) with no morning sickness (yay), which combined to glue my butt to the couch for the first two months.

About 6lbs so far, which I think is pretty normal. I'm aiming for about 25lbs if I can help it.
I originally lost 3 but and but to my prepregnacy weight as of 14wks

Anyway, I know I've GOT to curb this.
