laser hair removal

I remember a while back there was some talk about how after laser hair removal your hair can grow back during PG? did this happen to everyone? and to what extent?

there is a groupon for laser hair removal in my area - 6 sessions for 2 body areas for $99 and i'd love to get my underarm area done and maybe bikini line too but if there is a possibility of another PG in my future, i don't want to waste my money.

would love to hear what others' experiences were who have had laser hair removal done in the past....

    i don't have any experience but i just want to say $99 for 6 sessions is a great deal! make sure the place is reputable and has good reviews.

    I had it done before our wedding and sadly, pregancy hormones negated most of the hair reduction I experienced from the laser treatments. *sigh*  After the next pg I may do it again or look into electrolysis, which I understand is the only real, permanent way to get rid of unwanted hair.

    I did 5 bikini sessions, 6 leg sessions and 8 underarm sessions. I didn't notice much of a difference with the bikini area or my legs (except my knees, where I fell on and scraped when I was pg...a whole patch of hair grew back when my skin was healing--I called it "the little forest on my knee"). But my underarms...the hair grew a lot when I was pg...so much that I thought it was way more than I ever had (and I spent extra $ on extra sessions for underarms too) but it calmed down after I gave birth. I probably need more sessions for my knee and underarms but they were always the areas where my hair growth seemed more aggressive, even before pg, so I kinda figured I would always need more sessions for those areas anyway. So all in all, I think it was still worth it that I got them done. There will be temporary aggressive hair growth during pg but it did subdue afterwards at least...

    I did underarms years ago, but it never completely got rid of it, just slowed it down a lot.  It did grow a little more frequently while I was PG, but nothing like before when I got it done.  $99 is an awesome price - but make sure it's a reputable place, like pp said. I had 6 sessions, I think, and I paid something like $1500?
