Going to attempt to post despite the stupid errors.

I had to buy a new BBT therm. this weekend. I got the Walgreens pink one--only one they had. It says it has memory recall like my other one.

I decided since it was the first day with a therm. that I'd look at the temp right after I took it (I usually don't bother to look until I get up. Anyway, the temp read, I think, 97.74. When I checked it again after I got up, it read 98.80.

Anybody with the Walgreens brand have this happen? I assume I should use the temp I saw right after taking it (even though I like the higher temp better), but I wanted opinions. I've never had this happen before.

    I've never had that happen, although I have a CVS brand BBT.  If I were you I'd return it just in case.  I hope you saved the receipt.

    That is a possibility. I will read the instructions first tonight and see if it says anything about how it recalls the temp--if it's only the first time or what. It could also have been reader error. I'll try it again in the morning and if I get the same result with no explaination, I'll take it back.

    The Walgreen's therm only saves the temp long enough to read it the first time you turn it on after you take your temp. It flashes, then is gone, so you have to be quick. If you turn it on and miss it, you can't turn it back on and see it again. It'll just flash a random "normal" temp (98.6, but sometimes mine does others). Do you think maybe that was the issue?

    Yeah, that's what I was afraid. Like I said above, I hadn't read the instructions yet (opened it right before bed last night). I'm not positive I checked it more than once, but it's a distict possiblity. Guess I need to make sure I write the temp down the first time I check it--my memory sucks.

    Thanks! I was hoping someone on here with a Walgreens brand could help me out.
