I just received wood teethers from this Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/littlesaplingtoys?ga_search_query=little+sapling+toys&ga_search_type=seller_usernames

They have state-shaped teethers, and I got a CT-shaped one for HS friends who just announced they're expecting.  They don't have a MD one, but you can request custom items. I also got a hippo teether for Nora and she loves it.

This is now my go-to gift for pregnancy announcements!

    those are reallt cute!  Like daisy I wish I could trade in one of the millions of little outfits we got/are still getting for something cute and original like that.
