Last night was great. My parents came over at 2:30, but we didn't leave until around 4:30. The hotel was really nice and they conviently had a wine reception 5-6 when we got there so I had some free Pinot Grigio! While I was getting wine, Brian must have told the girl at the desk that we just had a baby and it was our anniversary because when I came back she was congratulating me and telling me that I looked great. We relaxed in the room for a little while and had champagne. We headed out around 6:30 and had a drink at a bar and then went to dinner at 8. The restaurant was really good and they brought out a dessert sampler platter with happy anniversary written in chocolate on the plate. (I made the reservation on opentable.com and had indicated that it was our anniversary.) My feet were killing me so we went back to the hotel room so I could change into flip flops. There was a tray with chocolate covered strawberries and a note wishing us a happy anniversary after our whirlwind year. I guess the girl at the front desk arranged it. We decided that we were done for the night and never made it to the comedy show at 10:30. How pathetic are we?! We got back here around noon. My mom said that she was a perfect angel for her.
