BRU is totally OUT of all the "my first Thanksgiving" onesies I'm so bummed! they only have them in 3-6 month sizes... but she's going to be at least a week old... those will be toooooo big for her! if you find any, at any bru or anywhere else, please let me know!!
oh, and a question! have you found a pediatrician yet? I feel like I've waited way too long to go visit some drs :-/ I have to go this week! Do you have any recs? I have 2 (two my cousins recommended) but am still so worried about picking the "right" one lol
Re: **mari**
I've been thinking about this for the past few days, but I feel a little shy to call around. I really don't even know what to ask! Where do you live?? I am in Miami Lakes and there is a Pediatric Associates like 2 minutes from my house that I was thinking about checking out. They have Saturday hours and I thought that would be good for any weekend emergencies and illnesses...
The other dr I was thinking about is Dr. Hidalgo. He was our family pediatrician.
What hospital are you delivering at??? Memorial Miramar for me.
Let's order the onesies online girl! I wonder if they have them on there! (Making a note to self to check on this tomorrow asap!)
Oh, I'm way more south than you are. I'm jealous you live in Miami Lakes, though! That was the one place DH and I looked when we first got married and we looooved the apartments around main street, I always thought we'd wind up living there. The drs I was looking at are near Sunset Place, and, also, my old family pediatrician, too. I called one of the doctors and asked if they did prenatal visits, and the receptionist there said that they actually do weekly walk-throughs. You go in at a certain time, they give you ther un-down of the place, times they're open, if they're open on the weekends stuff like that. I'm also going to ask about the vaccinations and how she distributes them, what hospital she has privileges at (if any.) One nestie, I forget who, told me to call the office at various times of the throughout the week (like, Monday morning, Friday afternoon, Wednesday mid-day) and see if the receptionist picks up right away or if they pick up and put you directly on hold, stuff like that. I feel weird "crank calling" though lol I'd need a reason!
I'm delivering at Jackson, downtown. It's so far from me, though! It's like 45 minutes away (with no traffic lol) But, luckily, I guess, I won't have to worry about rushing there, since I'm being induced! yay lol I'll hopefully have time to plan out when to leave and when to get there.
oh, and BRU doesn't have them online
I checked! I don't know why they wouldn't carry seasonal stuff online. BUT I did find some on zazzle.com! You can either custom make your own onesies, or buy some already made:

We live in a townhouse 2 minutes from Main Street and I really love the neighborhood! Too bad you guys didn't end up moving here! Then we could be neighbors! I still think we should get together when the babies get here for some mommy socializing time. It's good to have friends going through the same thing you are (new baby, crazy pets, etc!)
I am going to call the pediatrican right by my house tomorrow and see if they have prenatal visits. I think that's really cool. I would also be hesitant to crank call! I am so embarrased to do stuff like that!
I thought this was really cute, but pricey when you think about the fact that it's just a onesie...

we will definitely meet up, i need mommy friends lol i'm the first of the few girlfriends still in Miami to have a baby, so they kind of stare at me like i'm so weird animal lol
