I am on 20mg prozac a day for PPD. I had a bad night and took 100mg last night. I breastfeed and was wondering when it would be safe to feed again. I don't want the 100mg to harm her, how long do I need to pump and dump? TIA

    Call your Dr to be sure but I'd say 24 to 48 hours.

    Taking a 100 mg of Prozac is STUPID. If you are suffering, talk to your doctor and don't go above the prescribed dosage.

    prozac stays in your system longer than other medicine. please talk to your doctor.

    Please Please Please do not self medicate and take more than you are supposed to! There is a reason that they put you on a low dose to begin with.  If you are having a bad time please call the dr. I would think that you need to pump and get rid of the milk but please call the dr and tell them what you did!
