Hey!
I was wondering, what did you do about Kenley's 2nd birthday party since you delivered shortly before her birthday?
I know it's way too early to be thinking about it, but I'm honestly considering having Kennedy's birthday party about three weeks early so that I can just focus on her that day. I know it will suck being basically 9 months pregnant, on my feet and hosting a party, but I think it sounds easier than doing it after the birth and with a newborn. Plus, it may be Kennedy's last "non-double" birthday party for a long while, so I want the day to be just about her, if that makes sense.
I didn't know what you did? Do you plan on doing double birthday parties for the girls next year?
TIA!
Re: **Southernbelle**
It's never too early to start thinking about their birthdays...I'm already planning the girls' party for next year!
Since Taylor's due date was the day before Kenley's birthday, we had her party a month early. I'm SO glad I did. I barely made it through the party b/c I got very nauseous and was having some contractions...there's no way I could have had it any later. I definitely recommend having it early and keeping it on the small side.
We are having a double party next year and will hopefully do that as long as the girls are ok with it.
Thank you! I think we will definitely do it earlier then.
We had planned on having a big party at our church but we may scale it back a bit, just to make it easier to plan. We'll see as it gets closer!
