pre-k suggestions

I recently moved to the Tomball area and am wondering if anyone knows of a Pre-K program in the area.  I checked into the pre-k at the nearest elementary school and we don't "qualify" for the program.  So, it seems as if we are stuck continually paying for decent education.  Any suggestions would be great!

    Hi ladies. Im not usually on this board. Im originally from San Antonio where anyone can attend pre-k. Whats with the restrictions here in Houston the surrounding suburbs?

    The elementary by my house said that we have to "qualify", and in order to qualify spanish has to be the first language, we have to be on gov. assistance, he has to be adopted, or we have to make less than 30K a year.  Needless to say we were very far from qualifying, so I am paying weekly for my son to get Pre-k.  Disappointing system!
