EBF and wondering if possible just started period LO is 3.5 weeks!

i had just kind of stopped bleeding. Went from blood to just a tiny bit of pink discharge over past 5 days. then this morning, noticed red blood. I also kind of feel bloated.

So... is it possible that I started my period when my LO is only 3.5 weeks old?

He has never had formula, but he has used a pacifier since about 2 weeks old.

Thoughts? I am now worried that it means my body is going to reject breastfeeding or something.

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME YESTERDAY!!!! today, no red blood or bloaty/crampy feeling. feel fine and discharge is bronigh/redish. good luck, hope its the same for you

You have nothing to worry about with breastfeeding. It's probably still PP bleeding. Mine stopped like that around four weeks and came back again at 5 weeks. It didn't completely stop until closer to 8 weeks. PP discharge will turn yellow before it stops for good.

Mine did the same thing at almost the same time, I am also EBF, then it went away a few days later and cut back to just occasional spotting. I also did give him a pacifier from about 2 weeks, but just at nights to help him fall asleep. Not much during the day, but he 100% knows the diff between BF and the pacifier.
