So I love the name Charlotte, but DH and I want all our kids to have the same initials since we both do. Obviously, we're having a boy and naming him Samson. Our other boy name is Simon and our only girl name we like is Sydney. I don't need a girl name for a while, IF we even have 1+ girls, but I'm just curious as to how you would respond to the name Sharlotte.
Like I said, we may never have to be there and think about it, I'm just wondering what you guys think.
Re: Tell me how dumb this is
For this child I prayed, and the LORD has given me my petition which I asked of him.

I'm not a fan of the spelling Sharlotte.
I went to high school with a girl named Sharla, which might be something you would consider.
Yeah, feces was the first thing that came to mind.

That is as dumb as putting a rooster hat on a turtle to see if he'll crow!
Um, no. I just looks horrid.
There are a lot of really nice girl names that start with S. I'd start over.
AWFUL. I can't even express how much I dislike that. Perhaps I am biased because we are naming our LO Charlotte. It is such a beautiful name and to change the spelling like that would be really atrocious.
Yea I am not a fan of it either. So some possible S names are
Sawyer, Scarlett, Samantha, Sadie, Sasha, Savannah (Keeping with the theme of a city), Sara, Sienna, Sloan (on my list), Stacey, Sterling, Summer
Hopefully you find somthing to get started thinking in a different direction.
I like her suggestion!
Sorry, Sharlotte makes me want to vomit a little. Its the name name as Charlotte, just misspelled. The only difference between the two is on paper, where Sharlotte looks dumb.
This is my step-sister's name. I've always thought it was pretty

Sorry but I think it is silly. Sort of Duggar-ish like Jinger instead of Ginger. Please don't do that to a poor baby.
This exactly.
Bahahaha. Please don't mess with the spelling of Charlotte.
Not a fan of the matchy initials anyway though.
