can you recommend a preschool "nap mat"?

This is the first year DS will be napping, or hopefully napping that is, at preschool.  Can you recommend a nap mat outside of the plastic one at Wal-Mart? Cute is good. Expensive is not. Thanks!

  • There are a few at www.lillianvernon.com. You could also try ebay.

  • DS has THIS ONE.

Although it is pricey on the front end...it is super cushy and excellent quality and has his name embroidered on it.  He has used it for 3 "school years" and it's still in mint condition.  Well worth the $$ since I've never had to replace it or so much as repair it.  He loves how soft the minky inside and pillow is as well as the attached blanket.

  • My kids school always said they HAD to be the plastic ones.  They wiped them down and sprayed them each day.  So, we just got the KinderMat (yes the blue and red one) but we got the thick version.

You may want to check if they have to be the plastic type.
