How funny!

"So, I'm not a pure AP mom, but my 6-month old is always 'attached' to me (front, back, hip, boob), but probably more for convenience that because of philosophy. I have a 2-year old as well, and I just can't get everything done without doing it with her. She's on my boob as I type! Recently, I've realized  she really can't be by herself anywhere, ever. I see other babies lying on the floor or in the grass or on a bed investigating and playing for 10, 20, 30 minutes at a time. What am I creating? Is normal? Should I maybe be doing some reading? Any thoughts or refs?

"Okay... great mother... I have 3. They still have a dad in the house. The older is going to Yale this year on a full ride. She is socially desirable, confident, authentic, and we maintain a really good relationship -- both friends and mother/daughter. No secrets, at least none that I really want to know about. The middle one is a happy, happy child, excels in school -- like, really excels to the extent she spends time at Stamford every summer, for fun! -- and is a valued friend and confidante to her peers. The little one is my idol -- the most authentic, confident, empathetic, caring, cool dude I know. Again, a sought after and valued friend."

    So she has a 6 month old, a 2 year old, one going to Yale and the middle child enjoys summers at Stanford. Wow, that's one advanced 2 year old... Stick out tongue

    The whole thing makes the Elvis encounter more exciting, too. Maybe Yale is where she (BBM) met Irv the Perv. He was probably traveling through the New Haven area (nah...probably Hartford, more likely) with Chippendales and oh. mah. gah - she was smitten. He had her at the Elvis snarl.

    I just don't know. 

    There are definitely similarities.  The older kids and younger kids, the obvious slip up already about the ages, some excessive use of parenthesis like hm would use, and mn is definitely not a new poster.  Its also odd how she seems to be trying to come on here with an introduction of how she is going to be anonymous. 

    BUT, hm has a distinct writing style.  Lots of parenthesis, excess info that is not relevant to anything,  and lots of " ... " punctuation.  Not to mention hm knew everything.  Also, she would never engage in any debate back and forth. 

    Sure, hm lied about more than you guys even know and this could be her.  If so, she is even odder than I thought.  She was on here way too much to just disappear.  So, I guess I am undecided.  I can see her coming back, but I am surprised at how obvious she is being then.  I think if it is her, it will be undeniable as time goes on.

    It's not really that impressive.  If you check the original post, the 2 yo spends summers at Stamford, not Stanford.  While Stamford, CT may be a nice place to vacation, I don't think they require that you have to be all that bright to visit.

    What the hell is an authentic kid??  Made with real ingredients?  Not a knock-off??  Do they come with certificates of authenticity from Aston-Drake Galleries??

    She probably means genuine. As in no sneakiness, artifice, etc.

    But maybe she does have certificates of authenticity from her OB or something.
