  Google direct sales/ purse party consultants.  I have been invited to quite a few, but I am very particular with what types of bags I buy.  I don't think it would be your best bet to buy purses and try to start your own when there are multiple companies that already specialize in this.  Usually they are very organized and lead you step by step through the start up process.  Research it a lot before you make any sort of commitment.  I do direct sales by selling sterling silver jewelry, but I did a ton of research and booked five parties before I officially started.
