Hi, does anyone have recommendations for doing a water birth at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul? Any good midwife recommendations? Everything I read about water births sound amazing and I would love to hear about local experiences. Thanks!
We're planning - hoping! - for a water birth (I'm due in a month). We took the maternity ward tour early on, to learn more about the hospital and the water birth tub/process. It was a long tour, but informative. We then took our birthing class at St. Joe's and really are happy with the teachers and information. I go to Generations clinic in Shoreview and have been very satisfied with the midwives and nurses there. They will deliver at St. Joe's or St. John's.
Not sure about St. Johns or Joe's as we delivered our first at Woodwinds Health campus. TTC our second now and I am going to stick with woodwinds. Great Doctors, two water birthing rooms and the most relaxed atmosphere I have encountered.
