Re: Anyone ever do an estrogen priming protocol for IVF? (ticker inside)

  • EPP is a particularly aggressive protocol for poor responders; there are ladies on the board currently doing this protocol and I'm sure many others who have done it in the past. I've talked to my RE if this would be appropriate for me and, though it's used a lot at my clinic, he thinks it's too aggressive right now based on my response last cycle. We did talk about it at length, and it's worth bringing it up to your RE if you think you'd benefit from it.

    Good luck.

  • I am doing it right now.  It is very aggressive and I am a poor responder.

I did it for my last IVF cycle and my egg quality did improve - I actually did get pregnant but m/c right away.

I am trying it one more time, otherwise I am moving on to DE.

I have a research paper my RE shared with me on EPP and I would be glad to share it with you.  Just send me a PM with your email.
