Doula for Middlesex Hospital?

My husband and I live in Niantic and I will be delivering at Middlesex Hospital.


We're looking for a doula and I'd love to know if anyone has recommendations for one that is in the area.

    We are giving birth at Middlesex as well.  We have hired a doula through Birth Partners LLC.  They are based out of Derby and I was really impressed with the service.  This is our first birth, so I haven't had the experience yet, but I talked at length with Janet, and she paired us with a doula to fit our needs.  Their doulas are trained above and beyond normal standards and I found the prices quite reasonable for what I was expecting.  We have met with our doula twice and she is available to me round the clock with any questions I have.  I love her and I feel so much more comfortable anticipating going through this experience with her by our side.

    We didn't have DS at Middlesex but used Birth Partners as well. We took Janet's birthing class and she matched us up perfectly. It was nice being able to call for extra support when we were having some issues toward the end of pregnancy.
