I'm due new years eve and was thinking of doing my shower some time in November. I thought I'd be doing it too early anytime before then, so I don't know when the best time to have the shower would be.
I am due mid Dec, and having mine mid Nov. I would do it sonner but I am waiting for my mom to come home, she is overseas taking care of my grandmother and is retuning in time for LO birth. I dont want my mom to miss anything since she is so selfless to take care of my grandmother.

I had my first one at 34 weeks and delivered at 38 weeks so it worked out well. 6 weeks is a good number of weeks to get what you didnt get at your shower that your going to need and to wash the clothes you get. Also I wouldnt do it any later due to the fact the holidays are just around the corner. Its harder to get people to get together around the holidays ( Its a busy time of year) So I think thats the perfect time!

I really have no involvement @ all, but from what I have heard by eavesdropping one is in October..That's the one that MIL is throwing for me & I found that out thru my husband.. The other one that my sisters & aunt are holding for me, I have no idea when that will be...
popping in from Jan boards....I'm doing mine on Oct 30th and I'll be 30 weeks. We had my sisters at 30 weeks and she deliverd my niece early at 32 weeks and in all honesty she was already way to uncomfortable at 30 weeks that I think she would of been miserable any later even if she didn't deliver early.
I am having a shower when I visit DH's home state Oct. 1st. My hometown one won't be till Nov 6th- I'll be abt 34 weeks then. Etiquette (not that I strictly follow those arbitrary rules) states that baby showers should be between 6-4 weeks. i am such a planner that it will be very hard to wait that long!

I'm due 12/25. My shower is one 10/24. It's mostly that day because my sister is in charge of it and that's the day that worked out best for her since she is one super-busy woman.

I'm having mine in October at 30 weeks. With my 1st I had them at 28, 32, and 35.5 weeks. I delivered 4 days after my last shower so I don't recommend doing them later then 34 weeks!

Due Dec 2nd and Mine is Sept 4th. I'll be 27 weeks. I know it's really early but we are sharing with my sister who will be 35 weeks. We decided since I'm due close to the holidays that we would just burn one weekend and do both then. And I would hate for her to miss mine because she is lugging an infant around.

I am due December 15th and we are doing our first shower with DH's family (out of state) at 27 weeks bc we were planning on going up there anyways, so it worked out well.
Our second shower will be October 16th. Rather have it early so that I have the room prepared and everything ready to go!
Mine will be October 2nd! I will be 30-31 weeks along! The advice I got was...sooner is better! A lot of people go early and have nothing ready for the baby. A friend of mine had her shower at 34 weeks and 10 days later, her water broke! And for me, I am flying out of state for mine, so I don't think I want to fly much later than 31 weeks!
I will be having my first when I'm 36 weeks and my 2nd when I'm 37. Yikes! This is not my choice but when people were available to throw them for me. Oh well-I just hope that I'll actually be able to attend.
I'm due Dec. 21st and having my "big" shower on October 16th and the second shower with my IL's November 14th. We live in NJ, my parents and sisters are in CT and my IL's live in PA. So both showers are going to be in a different state than we live in.
My mom is throwing one for me in our hometown and we both decided not to have it in November due to the holidays. We are doing it a little early but that way it is over....Oct 2. I'm "Due dec 15" but that could certainly change. Also with my work schedule this will work out better since I'll have to be getting sub plans ready and preparing for maternity leave in November.....
I am due Dec 21st and my showers are August 28 ( 1300 miles away won't be home again before she is born) The ones where I live now are Oct 17th and Oct 23rd.
