New to The Bump

I'm new here

Hi Everyone.

I'm new here and just wanted to say hi. I've been ultra emotional lately, so I already make one posting "mistake" , but moving on...  Smile

My husband and I are TTC. We've been married almost 2 yrs and I've been off the pill since March.  I can't wait for the day that I get that positive...possibly soon...We shall see.

I'm hoping to make some new friends who are in a similar situation.  Good luck to everyone trying!!

Re: I'm new here

  • Hey Katie

Just an FYI- I saw your post on TTGP, and I think if you did an official "Intro" post pretty much along these exact same lines over there (owning up to your posting "mistake" and all) they'd give you a lot of credit and the whole thing would be forgotten pretty fast.  They've got some seriously smart and helpful ladies over there and they have lots of great tips on TTC.  There isn't much action on the New to The Bump board- so give it some thought.

Your first post could have been a LOT worse, trust me (I used to be a poster there), so I think you'll be OK.  =]

Good luck to you on your TTC journey.

  • Hey kdw. I'm new here too. I also looked at your post on TTGP, and my gosh, people can be cruel and mean, and for no apparent reason..I'm sorry they shot you down like that..:(My DH and I recently decided to start TTC :) This is the first month trying for us. I was on NuvaRing and other BC for about 7 years, and stopped the NR on July 22. I got AF on July 23. I started using FertilityFriend.com (which I love!), and also started to track my BBT about 4 days ago. However, I'm almost positive I've ovulated. Two days ago (also the day after I had bad pelvic pain, nausea, and found out a 3 cm cyst of my left ovary ruptured - I'm an US tech), my BBT spiked :) I know this is my first cycle off of BC, so I'm not getting my hopes up. I do think it's very cool to see how your body reacts to the menstrual cycle and how this is a valuable tool to get to know your body better.. Joanne
