Peas and Pasta ....looking for recipes

I am looking to make LO some yummy food.  Does anyone have some good recipes for LO with pasta?  Id like to make a batch and freeze it if possible.  I also am wondering if there is any creative way to give LO peas..Anyone have a good pea recipe?  Thanks.

    Did you use the same kind of pasta?  Did you let LO finger feed it to herself?

    I couldn't find that kind of pasta at our grocery store, so I just used Barilla's Mini-Penne. She feeds herself all her food these days.. but when she was a little younger, I'd cut the pasta into a little smaller pieces.

    If you cook the pasta an extra minute or two, its a little easier for them to chew.

    Today I made DD pasta with peas and carrots.

    I used elbow maccaroni (it's quite small even when cooked so I didn't have to cut it up)

    In a boiling pot of water I put the maccaroni and frozen peas and carrots.  I boiled them till soft, drained them, added some left over grilled chicken from last night's dinner which I shredded into little pieces and mixed it all together with a little bit of cheese whiz. 

    I know using cheese whiz is probably going to get me "side eyed" by a few bumpies but it's a small amount and made it taste a little better and blended it all together.  DD loved it.

    She finger fed herself it all with no problem.
