Kaiser Irvine Med. Center?

Hey,

Have any of you had any experience with having a baby at the Kaiser hospital off Sand Canyon?

Just curious how your experience was, since thats where I am supposed to be having LO in November...

I haven't personally, but have two friends who were very happy with their experiences there.

And yesterday, I met someone who was so happy after having her second baby there, that she changed jobs and started working there as a postpartum nurse. She really enjoys it.

Rumor has it the cafeteria is pretty good too.

A friend of ours had a baby there and was very happy!

My husband was on the team that built that hospital (he is a project manager) and it is really nice! Kchao...he came home a few times raving about how great the cafeteria is set up!

My bf just had her baby there 3 weeks. She loved it. You just don't get to pick your delivery doctor or midwife.
