Computer people in here please!!

My microsoft publisher froze in the middle of me creating a document which I desperately need.  I can't get it to unfreeze and I am scared of losing my work (which I didn't save yet!).  What can I do?  Anything?  it froze while I was searching for clipart.

I know this is way random but this is my last resort!

    All of my Microsoft programs will do an auto save.  So, for me if it freezes I shut the computer down and it always has it there when I start the computer back up.  I'd do a Google search and check to see if your version does the same.  Good Luck!
