Oy! Some people just don't think before they speak. Yay for losing weight and people noticing though!

Like you said at least you've lost a noticable amount of weight! Congrats!
A few years ago I got on an exercise kick and was eating very healthy and lost a few pounds but was also more toned so it looked like more. My dad was shocked to see me (note I only dropped 10-15 pounds) and asked me if I was healthy or if there was something else going on that he needed to know about. One of those "you look good but..." moments. I just laughed and told him to be happy if I was happy.
good for you! But you are right, what a weird way of saying it.
It sounds like something my dad would say too. He doesn't mean to be rude, he just isn't good with understanding how I (or anyone) inturprets what he means. Like last week I was telling him I was afraid to gain too much weight in the second tri. He says "well go join the gym and take up running again cause you might never lose the weight if you put it on, it's what happened to your mom". Awesome.

My dad seriously said the same exact thing. Thank God my parents are divorced.

This exactly. I'm sorry, some people need to think before they speak!
