Question for those who had a C-section

Did any of you have pain from where the epi went in later on? I had her 8 days ago and now where the epi went in I am having a lot of pain. It feels like it did when he was putting it in and hitting the wrong spot. (it took a few tries) I called the doctor and am taking Motrin for the pain, but was wondering if anyone else had this happen.

  • I had no pain from the epi.  It only took one try for her to do it though.  Feel better soon.

  • I didnt have any pain with this csec, but the one before I was bruised and sore. It went away in about a week. Both times the spinal went in on the first try.

  • It took them several tries, but I never had any pain.. or maybe the pain of my stomach masked it. But, I don't recall any. Not sure if I had a bruise. I never look at it in a mirror. Good luck.
  • no. They kept asking if I did and I didn't.

  • I just had my 3rd c/s.   I had no  issues with the first two from my spinal.  I am 2.5 weeks out from this c/s and I am still having back pains and I also have a numb spot in my tailbone that goes down into my butt.  It took them a few tries to get the espinal in properly.  The pain in my back actually started out as muscle spasms and they got so bad, I had to go to the emergency room.  My OB thinks the pain is not so much from the spinal itself but from the way I was hunched over when I was receiving as well has having a huge baby.  Fortunately, the worst of the pains are over, but its still annoying.  I hope you feel better soon.
