Ummm, so do BCPs = the runs?

Cause I haz it!

Seriously, the last couple days I've had mild stomach cramping and general "unpleasantness" down south... right about the time I started taking my first BCP.

    I can't say I've ever had that side-effect, I hope it goes away fast. How long are you on BCPs before IVF?

    18 days - which apparently is an odd # to take but it has to be timed so that my ER happens in connection with when the PGS place can schedule me in.

    I'm also on a mega dose of BCP and wonder if that's the cause. The meds I'm currently on make BCP only about 60% effective so I'm all kinds of hopped up on drugs right now.

    Well that doesn't sound like much fun, but at least you won't be on the bcps for a long time. Have I told you that I am crossing everything for you and I really hope this is the magic wand for you. thinking of you!

    I would think that taking a bunch of drugs could definitely cause that.

    I just started the BCP's too. And yes, about 30 minutes after I eat, I run down the hall yelling, "Oh my gawd, hold my butt!"
