Red spotting:(

in Pregnant after a Loss
I had brown spotting earlier this week. They sent me for an u/s (looked great - measuring spot on) and blood work, which was good as well. I just went to the bathroom to find red blood when I wiped:( The nurse is checking my chart for any mention at the u/s of a SCH or placenta previa, but I'm flipped out. They didn't mention either of these things during the u/s. I wish this would just stop:(

    I'm sorry you have to deal with this.  The good news is that it's been proven that spotting doesn't = bad news already in this pregnancy.  Nonetheless, I hope it stops soon!

    The nurse called. She spoke to a doctor in the practice and he said since I was just there Tuesday and everything was fine, they're not going to bring me in. They feel it's just first tri bleeding that some women experience. They put me on pelvic rest, said to not lift anything heavy, drink fluids and call if it gets worse. So we'll see.

    Sending lots of thoughts and prayers your way, Gwen.  I hope everything turns out ok.  I had bleeding scares at 7 wks and 16 wks during this pregnancy caused by what they think were irritable spots on my cervix... not harmful to the pregnancy, but it made me crazy for sure.  I hope your bleeding turns out to be something like that...  Take care.

    This actually makes me feel a little better, Lisa. I'll be 7 weeks on Monday. They didn't find anything during an u/s on Tuesday, so I'm trying to be hopeful. Thank you for sharing with me.
