Parenting after 35

Oh ladies....can I VENT!

Thomas has been sleeping crappy the last couple weeks!  He goes down around 8:30 and will sleep till about 12:30, I feed him and he goes right to sleep.  Then he wakes every two hours after that!  I'm tired and have huge sinus headach from lack of sleep!

Honestly, I don't know what to do but let it ride out!  I just hope Thomas is getting enough sleep.

That's it!  Happy Friay the 13th!

  • Vent away... that has to take a toll on your body.  I was lucky that most nights, around that age, Aaron only woke up once. It gets to you.

I hope things get better with Thomas's sleep soon.

  • Maybe in 18 years it will get better ; ) last night all three of my little buggers were up!  Will you believe me if I said you get use to the no sleep - I can function as long as I have my coffee.

But usually around 4 months it is the baby wakeful time.. so things can only get better!

  • Jung - he is 4 months now - this may be an unpopular suggestion but have you thought about doing any sleep training?  Is he waking up b/c he's hungry or wet?  Has he ever STTN a 5 hour stretch?

  • I'm going to second Liz' idea of sleep training.  Although I will say that once Ellie got used to sleeping on her tummy, with some sleep training, she has slept great - in general.
