Ovulation Pain

This may be a really stupid question. But this is my first cycle off BCP and I am unsure if I have ever really noticed O pain before the pill.

What does it feel like? I have been having cramping since last night on my left side, continuous cramps. I'm thinking either AF is finally coming or maybe I am finally O'ing.

    I had cramps too this time I was ovulating, I dont usually ovulate was put on fertility meds and def could feel it this time.  It was especially sensitive during intimacy.

    The first couple weeks of BCP I had terrible shooting pains in my side, some were like  gas pains and some were different but I'm not sure if they were O pains or not because I wasn't charting yet. The past couple of times I did O it feels a bit like a stabbing pain but I also get AF type cramps to go with it. Good Luck!
