Trying on clomid!

My husband and I have been trying for 9 months now and I was put on clomid this month.  Everything has been going according to plan i got my positive opk today so we have increased our intimacy from every other day to every day.  I am excited to see if it happens on the first month, I have heard more likely on the second month.  I am just glad the meds are working for me seeing that i dont ovulate on my own.

    You've had an HSG right?   And an SA for your DH?  Seriously, how many mature follies did you have?   How is your lining?  Clomid is a serious fertility drug, any doctor should be monitoring you very closely on it.  Don't just take it on a whim.

    I am with a ob and they arnt montering me closley they gave me three months refills, not test they said if I am not preg with the three months of  clomid then futher test should be done. But my opk has been positive for three days now is that normal.

    No, that is not normal. You should be monitored with ultrasounds and bloodwork. Clomid can do damage to your system and you should only take a finite amount of it in your lifetime.

    You shouldn't take it before you've had an hsg to make sure your tubes aren't blocked. All the clomid in the world won't help you if your tubes are blocked.

    I'd go to an RE and get a lot of testing done BEFORE taking it.

    Wrong!   All testing should be done prior to taking ANY fertility drug.  This is not candy.  It's serious business and OB's just don't know (or aren't willing to take the time to do) the proper procedures.   You are putting yourself at risk for possible problems.
