Your Baby's Party Hour

I didn't get to respond to the CHW challange yesterday so just wanted to post a little something today.

What times of the day is your baby most active?

Our little boy puts on a show from 8:30am, 5:30pm, and the grand finale at 11:30. His best work is saved for that 11:30 hour.

Also, can any of you tell yet what exactly he/she is moving? Meaning- foot, hand, butt, etc.

Re: Your Baby's Party Hour

  • Generally in the evenings, after 8 pm.

Lately he's been throwin a party in early afternoon (like, right now). And I usually get some "good morning" thumps during breakfast and the drive in.

I haven't a clue what the thumps are yet.

  • My LO is pretty active all the time. He takes like 30 minute naps 2-3 times a day, but otherwise I can feel him constantly. He is MOST active about 20-30 minutes after I eat.

I cannot always tell what something is unless it's a really hard kick Smile.

  • Nearly anytime I eat, but the big show is in the evenings after dinner. Which is nice because then Daddy can experience it.

  • Generally between 10 -11:30 am and 2:00 - 3:30 pm. Although I couldn't sleep last night and with just about every toss and turn I got a kick...guess I was keeping someone up.
  • She is going crazy usually around 8 am and 8 pm. Love it though!
  • Party hour around here is right after I eat, as I lay down to go to sleep, and just as I'm waking up/hitting snooze in the morning.  Quiet most of the day though.

  • Usually from 2-3, then 8-9 are the most active times. She's being really quiet today though, which is not comforting!!

  • 9:30am, 2:30pm and evenings.. Have no idea what is going on in there...
  • So far my little girl is pretty calm (though she had something jammed in my side for what seemed like hours last night and this morning). I can feel her moving around on and off during the day but have only been able to feel her kick from the outside occasionally, and always in the afternoon. She tumbles rather than kicks so perhaps we'll sign her up for gymnastics instead of soccer.

  • Pretty much all day.  He's really "powerful" while I am eating and right afterwards, but I can pretty much feel him most of the day.  Not really any specific time that he is more active than others.
  • He is generally very active during the day. Sometimes he'll give us a little something at night ;-)

  • Around 10am and right around 4pm are his favorite times. He also tends to kick the crap outta me when I get hungry.

  • She's active on and off throughout the day but is most assertive about 15 minutes before meal time and about 20 minutes after meal time.  If she keeps up this pattern I don't think that I'll be getting to sleep in and have a late breakfast this weekend.
  • There's about four or five times a day he's super kicky. His most active seems to be 10:30pm to 1:30am.
  • Typically, 1pm-5pm is a pretty active time. A little during/after dinner. The big show, after 11pm. Baby's definitely a night owl.

Funny story, at our ultrasound yesterday (which was at 11am) he was trying very hard to sleep and was not appreciating being poked at. He was curled up in ball with hands in front of his face and 3-4 times kicked the wand. I was very amused. ^^

  • Usually right after dinner around 6:30/7 through 11/11:30.  My belly is in constant motion and you can see all the kicking/jabbing from the outside.  I love it!

  • Normally it's between 6-10 pm. However, she decided to sleep during that time and kick most of the night. She's very active now, so I'm hoping to fall asleep tonight.

  • Def at night, usually around 10pm. He also gets antsy whenever I sit for more than 10 mins in the same position. Very recently, he moved from laying across my stomach to being vertical...which has increased my runs to the BR.
