Trying to Get Pregnant

Hoping my Good Deed Doesn't Delay O

Gave blood today and fainted (my first time) while I was having a snack afterwards.  It was weird because after the fact, I sat there for a while to see if I would be ok and I started feeling some pretty strong cramps (not time for AF).  I went to the bathroom and just before I got back started feeling light headed again.  I usually don't O until CD19, so I hope my O date doesn't get delayed because of this.  I'm finally using OPK's for the first time this month.

  • I am not sure how giving blood might influence ovulation...

I think she's worried about her body being stressed from fainting and that delaying ovulation. OP, I wouldn't worry about it and I'd be more concerned with just getting your strength back after that.

  • I have to agree with PPs.  I know that stress can somewhat delay ovulation, but one instance of giving blood....I don't know about that.

Try to just put it out of your mind.

  • I think she means delaying O from the stress on her body from fainting.

OP: you will probably be just fine, and i dont think it will effect O.
