Gymboree classes are fun for babies and two and three year olds, after a awhile it gets boring for kids as they do the same thing every class and play on the same equipment. I used to bring my niece to the one in Westfield and it was fun, she started at nine months and she loved it until about two and a half. They even take pictures while playing, also we did a Music Together class which was also in Westfield and that was great and later she joined a place called Little Gym which was a fantastic fun place to run around and find new friends, I am sure you can find same classes where you live, good luck!
I take my son to My Gym. Its like the Little Gym. They have classes for different ages, the young ones are mommy and me classes. We started going when he was almost 10 months and he loves it. We were only going to do it through the summer months but decided to keep going with it because he is having so much fun. Its also really helping his gross motor development because there are so many things he can climb on and explore (they change the set-up of the gym every week so when you go to class it looks completely different and it never gets boring).
