love my RE! He is so down to earth and a great guy!. We have an action plan. My insurance only covers 3 cycles of injestion treatment so we are going to try next cycle of Gonal F along with Ovidrel with Timed intercourse. If I don't get pregnant that cycle I will get the surgery where they go in your belly button (not sure what its called) and check tubes and uterus then 2 more cycles of the injections. Does anyone have any feedback or sucess with the Gonal F and Ovidrel? Any imput would be great!
Re: Action plan from RE and question
If you have not had an HSG yet (checking to make sure your tubes are not blocked) I would not proceed with treatment. It sounds like you are limited to the amount your insurance will cover so why waste a cycle if your tubes are blocked?
If you are going to go as far as taking stim meds and triggering I would also do IUI instead of TI.
Good luck!
Thanks makes sense. It sounds like you have a good plan. Good luck!
This is my 3rd cycle doing clomid/IUI and triggering with ovidrel. I've never done injectables, but if you have any questions about ovidrel, feel free to ask!
The surgery you referred to is a laparoscopy. I had one of these done after one failed IUI, the dr found things that were contributing to my infertility, and we got pg that next cycle.
That's nice your insurance covers at least some fertility treatments, a lot of insurances don't cover any at all!
GL this cycle!
