Mamas, did your cycle &/or cramps get worse after giving birth?

Since having DD, I have become the queen of stomach & back cramps when my menstrual cycle comes around. I know it's been 2 years, but I'm just wondering if this is common. They were never this bad prior to giving birth.

    mine were definitely worse immediately after (first 3 months), and they switched my pill b/c of heavy bleeding as well.  now i'm back to normal though.  maybe call your OB to see if that's normal?

    Mine are actually BETTER, which is weird. I always used to have really, really bad periods - super heavy bleeding, agonizing cramps, etc, that lasted for 7+ days.

    Now I get one day of heavy bleeding then 3 days of spotting and no cramps.

    I keep waiting for it to get worse because I've never heard of cycles getting better post-pregnancy!

    I second calling your OB - it won't hurt to get checked out.
