Thoughts on the name Chloe

This seems to be the one phantom child name that we both like.  I didnt even think it was on the radar until MH was in the living room while I was watching Y&R and heard one of the character names and said he has always liked it. I also think it is a beautiful name.

I honestly do not think of the Kardashion sister at all, so I am glad the name as not been tainted(to us) based on that. But maybe there is something out there that I'm missing.

So what do you think of Chloe? 

ETA: I just did the SSA search and realize it is #9...not sure if that will make or break it.  I am a Stacey of the late 70s and didn't have any issues having a popular name...hmmmmm

    I love the name Chloe! It was on our long list of girl names.

    Popularity is not an automatic deal breaker for me, as you can tell.

    I love the name Logan!

    If we were ever blessed to have a girl and boy and use those names, our kids would be named after characters from the only 2 soap operas I watch, too funny!!

    I love Chloe, but wouldn't use it.  Khloe Kardashian hasn't ruined it for me, but tons of little yappy dogs have.

    I wouldn't give a thought to the Kardashians when hearing Chloe, unless perhaps I saw it written down with a K.

    Chloe is a sweet name; I like it very much.

    LOVE Chloe - it is the name of my Goddaughter actually, and other than being a very popular name it is really wonderful.

    I dislike it, but only because it's not my style. It's a nice, normal name and you're spelling it correctly. If you and your husband both like it you should go for it. We're using a name for our son just outside of the top ten. Popularity doesn't bother me when it's not a "trendy" name.

    I love it and as you can see just gave birth to my own Chloe! DH wasn't sure for the entire pregnancy but I was and I never gave up.  He now loves it as much as I do.  I don't think of the Kardashians or little dogs, but funny enough she was born on Khloe Kardashians birthday!

    Her full name is Chloe Lane.  Go for it!

    I love that name so much that I named my dog Chloe. ;-)

     

    ETA:  I hadn't even read the above post about yippy little dogs before I made my post.  haha  My Chloe is little but certainly not yippy (thank goodness!)

    I like it!  It's one of my DH's faves, but we've decided against it.  As long as you spell it right and don't try to use Khloe, I don't think of the Kardashians
