NBR: Spa on the Avenue?

Has anyone gone there?  If so, any suggestions on what to get?

Yesterday was my b-day so DH & DS gave me a gift certificate to go there.  I have  abad back that's been bugging me & I've had some joint pain ever since having DS.  He thought it'd be nice for me to have some relaxation time.  I've never been to a spa before though so other then just a normal massage, I have no clue what else is good!

  • I go there once or twice a year for massages (also with gift cert.s for bdays, etc). I used to always see the same masseuse who was the best I'd ever experienced. She left and I don't know where she went so now I just see whoever is available. The other masseuses I've seen there have also been very good though. In my opnion ANY massage is good! I would say use your gift cert. for a 60 min (or longer) massage. I had a pedicure there a long time ago and it was very nice, but expensive. I personally would rather spend the $ on a massage.

    Enjoy!

I agree spend your money on the massage, although recently I haven't been a big fan of them. They don't seem to listen to my needs. Good luck!
