I saw your earlier posts. I delivered at Mercy in May and just wanted you to know what a fabulous experience it was. Despite the fact that nothing went according to my plan (c-section and super long labor followed by a NICU stay for LO), it was the best experience I could have asked for due to the caring and compassionate midwives, doctors, and nurses. I was a black sheep for deciding to deliver at Mercy as my husband's family has a long history of employment with Hopkins. My husband wasn't initially thrilled with my decision to deliver at Mercy, but after our experience he agrees that Mercy is THE place to have a baby in Baltimore! Get ready for an amazing experience, ladies!
Re: All you November ladies delivering at Mercy : )
5 days, but they gave me 6 and an evening discharge so I could leave when LO was released from NICU. The extra time was great because I got to work with their awesome LC's a lot -- my LC would even come to the NICU with me. I also got my stitches out on that last day.
