I am thankful that my little brother came over and painted the nursery last night. DH has been working ALOT lately and it was such a big help to have that done.

Im also thankful that DH gets to take a whole month off when the baby comes, it is going to be such a big help!

I am thankful that signing up for a run has forced me to get back into the habit. The last 2 nights I have run a little over 4 miles each. I have NEVER ran 4 miles once so I am feeling happy with myself.

I am thankful for two amazing birthday gifts even if they are over a month early. (now I might be sad about not getting gifts on my birthday....but for now I am happy) My dad bought me a super cute camera bag/purse and my sister bought me a plan ticket to San Fran with her and one of my girlfriends.

I'm thankful to be on maternity leave and have some time to relax and get some odds and ends done before the baby arrives.

I'm also thankful that my blood pressure was down a little at my appointment this morning and the baby is looking great, even if all signs point to my being overdue.

Today's Nathan's birthday so I'm all sentimental and feeling sappy...

I am so thankful for my son. I am thankful that I not only love him, but really like him as well. I am thnakful he is healthy and developmentally on track. I am thankful that God trusted Nathan's life to our care.

I'm thankful that the nursery is almost completely done (minus organizing the closet).

I'm thankful that DH and I are getting a mini vacation in Cannon Beach this weekend and that the weather there is supposed to be amazing!

I am thankful that DH has been making an effort to pick the house up before I get home. It is so much easier to relax and enjoy the kids when there isn't a pile of dishes in the sink or garbage everywhere.

Also thankful that my good friend is done with the Army after 8 years and he's home safe and sound two tours to Iraq and one to Afgan.

DH got me a flip camera for my b-day. Gave it early so I woun't miss out on stuff I could be recording.

My cat is ok after my naughty dog went after him last night

I'm thankful that I didn't cry at work when AF showed up today. I'm thankful for the bottle of wine DH bought me 3 weeks ago that I get to break in to tonight. I'm thankful that I don't have to get up to work out tomorrow morning so I can have more than 1 glass of said bottle of wine tonight.

This totally made me tear up. I remember those days - I loved them so much.

I am thankful that I have such an amazing mother AND mother-in-law that have stepped in to care for Jackson while I go back to work part-time. It's such a relief to not have to pay for daycare, and that he is getting special bonding time with his grammi & nana.

I'm thankful for meeting other wonderful mommies, from this board and baby class.

I'm thankful we hired a nanny and did all the tax paperwork this week. We're official employers now! I'm also thankful we chose to do everything above board. It will make life easier the next time I undergo a background investigation for work and if I ever get the balls to really run for political office someday

I'm really thankful for great friends and family. We lost our dog to cancer on Monday, and so many people have reached out to us to let us know they're thinking of us, that they know what we're going through, etc. - it's been really amazing and has really helped. I've been so touched, and I'm just really thankful for the good people in my life.

I am thankful that I have 2 sleeping babies whilst I look after my friends daughter today - I wonder if it would be this easy with 2 all the time?

I am also thankful that my husband now doesn't have to go away to India on a business trip - nice to have him home

I'm thankful that today was my last day of school for the week.

I'm thankful that I'm able to go to school working towards the career I have always wanted.
