Mothers Group in the area?

Hi ladies,

Does anyone know of a mothers group in the Boston area? Open to recommendations for LO and I.

If you are attending one, can you give me some insight of what to expect.

    A friend of mine used www.meetup.com  when she moved to a new area to meet other moms.

    Also if your a member of isis they have drop in playgroups for different ages.

    I know of two large Mother's Groups north of Boston.  There is something called The Mother's Connection - which is for the Merrimack Valley, and then Newburyport also has something simmilar. If you are not in either of those areas I am sure Metro west has something as well as south shore.

    I have attended one since my LO was 2 months old.  We formed a small playgroup (8 mother plus babies to start with - it has dropped down as people went back to work).  We meet once a week. I love it and a few of the mothers have become my great friends!
